UNIVERSAL HOME

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
We were asked to design a home that would accommodate a person with mobility challenges.
we were allowed to change the internal walls to meet the requirements of the brief the external walls had to remain untouched. windows could be moved or added, existing toilets could be removed completely if wanted. Upgrading the current bathroom layouts was allowed but the toilets had to remain in the same spot and if moved it could only move to the opposite wall due to plumbing requirements. in order to keep the design hazard-free I decided to insert larger doors making access easier to the whole house. there were no carpets added to the house as this can make it harder to get around on a wheelchair as well as it can be a tripping hazard.
